Gather at the Tulsa Foundation for Architecture Offices, 633. Boston

Start with a group of imaginative chamber musicians, add historic downtown Tulsa buildings, mix in some cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, and voilà, a “progressive concert” party!

The Akropolis Quintet (oboe, clarinet, bass clarinet, bassoon, and saxophone!) regularly appears in unconventional settings and they were eager to work with us to create a unique event for our 66th season.

We will move from lobby to lobby, enjoying architectural highlights in each, courtesy of the experts from the Tulsa Foundation for Architecture, and enjoy music by Akropolis at selected sites.

6:30 p.m. - Tulsa Foundation For Architecture - 633 S. Boston

Doors open at TFA for orientation and an introduction from our TFA Tour Guide, Ted Reed. Enjoy hors d'oeuvres, wine and beer, and a short performance from Akropolis.

7:15 p.m. - Philcade - 501 S. Boston

Walk through the Philcade lobby for brief architecture comments.

8:00 p.m. - Mid-Continent Tower - 401 S. Boston

Enjoy a themed specialty cocktail and full performance by the

Akropolis Reed Quintet.

9:00 p.m. - Philtower - 427 S. Boston

Gather in the Philtower lobby for coffee, dessert, and a musical farewell!

9:30 p.m. - Location TBA
