November 13-15, 2020
Beethoven’s birthday celebration is a yearlong, worldwide event that unites listeners in the enjoyment of some of the most powerful creations of Western civilization. Hear all seven of Beethoven’s groundbreaking trios in two concerts in a weekend mini-festival! From the inventiveness of Opus 1 (his first published works!), to the atmospheric “Ghost,” to the dramatic and stately “Archduke,” the trios offer a portrait of Beethoven’s masterful vision for the combination of violin, cello, and piano. The Berlin-based ATOS Trio has been on our wish list for many years, and this is the perfect opportunity to hear them in Tulsa.
