Robert Heckman Memorial Scholarship
Chamber Music Tulsa Collegiate Scholarships were established in 2000. The scholarships honor the 30-year tenure of Robert Heckman, former manager of Chamber Music Tulsa. Since 2015, the scholarships have gone to support students training at the University of Tulsa’s chamber music program.
The award is given to an ensemble selected by audition in the University of Tulsa School of Music. The awarded ensemble acts as an intern ensemble for Chamber Music Tulsa during the spring semester. The selected ensembles present performances and outreach events in the community on behalf of Chamber Music Tulsa and are the resident ensemble during the Department of Music’s annual summer Chamber Music Camp.
