The Prazak Quartet has been at home on worldwide music stages for nearly 30 years and is well known as one of today's leading international chamber music ensembles. Established while students at the Prague Conservatory, the ensemble exemplifies the Czech quartet tradition of musical virtuosity. This talented ensemble is a frequent competition winner, and their 20 award-winning CDs are considered the "gold standard" in recorded literature today. The L.A. Times referred to a Prazak performance as "poetic … powerful … the kind that grabbed you by the collar and refused to behave."
